Boardroom
Short definition
A boardroom is the representative meeting room of the executive management or board, used for making decisions, receiving guests, and running hybrid meetings. It differs from an ordinary meeting room through higher demands on reliability, audio quality, and operation that works without IT support.
Distinction from a meeting room
Technically the transition is fluid, functionally it is not: in a meeting room, an occasional outage is annoying; in a boardroom, it is a reputational risk — board members, investors, or major clients sit there. That is why the focus is less on breadth of equipment than on reliability and simplicity: one button starts the meeting, the microphone understands everyone at the table, and the remote party sees and hears everyone without any readjustment.
