Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to rectification, restriction, or erasure of this data. For this and any further questions on the subject of personal data, you may contact us at any time using the contact details given in the legal notice or in Section 1 above.

• Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request information about the personal data we process concerning you.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request the correction of inaccurate or the completion of incomplete data.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request the erasure of your personal data, provided no statutory retention obligations apply.
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request the restriction of the processing of your data.

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. This may include, among other things, IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website access data, and other data generated via a website.

The host is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

Server Log Files

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources. This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website — for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

4. Contacting Us via the Website

Contact Form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), or, if the enquiry serves to initiate a contract (e.g. an enquiry about a project or a quote), on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures). You may withdraw this consent at any time; an informal email to us is sufficient for this purpose.

The data you enter into the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, you withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular statutory retention periods under commercial and tax law — remain unaffected.

Note on the multi-step contact form: Where the form first asks qualifying questions (e.g. about the desired service area or project scope), the same legal basis and retention period apply to this information as to the remaining information provided in the form.

Contact by Email or Telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, your enquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where such consent has been obtained.

5. Whitepaper Download

On whitepaper.php we provide guides available for download. To download a whitepaper, you provide your first and last name, your business email address, and optionally your company and phone number. We use this information to enable your download and to contact you about the requested whitepaper and related services.

This processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give when submitting the form and may withdraw at any time with effect for the future; an informal email to us is sufficient for this purpose. Technically, the unlocking of the download is stored for the duration of your visit in a session cookie (see Section 8).

6. Sending Enquiries via Mailjet

Emails triggered by the forms on this website (contact form pursuant to Section 4, whitepaper request pursuant to Section 5) are technically delivered via the email delivery service Mailjet. The provider is Mailjet GmbH, Alt Moabit 2, 10557 Berlin, Germany (as part of the Sinch group / "Sinch Email"). In doing so, the data provided in the respective form (e.g. name, email address, your message or the requested whitepaper) is processed for the purpose of delivery to us.

This processing is based on the same legal bases as described in Section 4 and Section 5 respectively (Art. 6(1)(a) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Mailjet acts as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Mailjet (Sinch) that ensures your personal data is processed strictly in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the requirements of the GDPR.

Data processing by Mailjet primarily takes place on servers within the European Union. Should data be transferred to Sinch group companies or subcontractors in third countries (such as the US company Mailgun Technologies, Inc.), an adequate level of data protection is ensured. This is achieved through the conclusion of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) of the EU Commission as well as through the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). 7. Project Calculator

The project calculator provided on this website calculates cost estimates exclusively locally in your browser, based on the information you select. The information entered in the calculator is not transmitted to our servers and is not stored, unless you subsequently actively contact us via the contact form.

8. Cookies

Our websites use so-called cookies in part. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offering more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Cookies that are not technically necessary (e.g. for analytics or marketing purposes) are only set on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TTDSG). 9. Google Analytics

On our website we use the web analytics service Google Analytics (GA4). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies or comparable storage and retrieval technologies (e.g. local storage) that enable an analysis of your use of our website — for example, which pages are accessed, how long visitors remain on the page, and via which source (e.g. search engine) they found us.

Google Analytics is used by us only with your prior consent. On your first visit to the website, we show you a cookie banner with the options "Accept" and "Decline". Only once you actively click "Accept" is the script loaded from Google and data collection begins — before this decision, no connection to Google's servers is established. The legal basis is therefore your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TTDSG.

The data collected by Google Analytics is also processed on Google's servers in the USA. We would like to point out that Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which ensures an adequate level of data protection for the transfer of data to the USA. In addition, we have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Google pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

We have also activated IP anonymisation ("anonymize_ip"): your IP address is shortened by Google within the EU prior to transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent, once given, at any time with effect for the future. To do so, click on "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of the footer and select "Decline" again — the cookie banner will then reappear. Alternatively, you can also prevent further tracking by Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics provided by Google.

10. SSL/TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, for example when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
